Campaign training footage captures the scale, repetition and focus behind long-distance open-water preparation.
Read story →Project Samudra Shikhar — supporting Kamya Bhardwaj in her pursuit to become the first Indian woman to complete the Oceans Seven Challenge.
The Oceans Seven is widely regarded as the swimming equivalent of mountaineering’s Seven Summits. Kamya’s mission is to complete seven of the world’s toughest ocean crossings and create a historic milestone for Indian women in endurance sport.
Born on 23 July 2006 and from Gurugram, Kamya Bhardwaj has already demonstrated exceptional endurance through a record-setting Palk Strait double crossing between India and Sri Lanka. Oceans Seven is her next defining challenge.
Track every challenge by location, status and story — from the Strait of Gibraltar to the Molokai Channel.
Strong currents, low temperatures, marine life, changing weather patterns and long hours in open seas test physical endurance, mental resilience, navigation, cold-water adaptation and decision-making.
The campaign links a cumulative 250 kilometres of preparation and Oceans Seven crossings to transparent support — ₹50,000 per kilometre, with a total expected campaign of ₹1.25 crore.
